Emily O’Connor Karolyi is a native of Stratford, CT. The O’Connor family moved to Cove Place in Lordship in the 70’s. Her family owned and operated Katherine O’Connor Real Estate. Emily grew up in the Paradise Green neighborhood and attended St. James School and Stratford High School. She graduated from Sacred Heart University and studied at the University of Navarra in Pamplona, Spain.
In 1976, Emily moved to Washington D.C. where she embarked on a career in campaign politics and later political and legislative affairs for the National Association of REALTORS. Emily and her husband raised their 3 children in Washington, D.C. With her mother’s encouragement, she became a real estate salesperson in 1992 with Evers & Company Real Estate in DC. Once her parents became age-challenged, she spent more time in Stratford. Emily also got her real estate license in Connecticut and was first affiliated with William Raveis Real Estate and is now affiliated with Century 21 AllPoints Realty. Emily moved back to her old neighborhood of Paradise Green during the pandemic. She is active in community organizations such as the Sterling House Community Center, the Historic William Perry House, St. James Catholic School, her Stratford High Reunion Committee, and the Union Cemetery Association Board.
Emily became a Realtor® in 1992 and since then has achieved a solid track record of successfully representing both buyers and sellers. She works in all price ranges and is experienced in dealing with single-family homes, condominiums, and investment properties. Emily is bilingual and has helped many Spanish-speaking clients navigate the homebuying/homeselling process throughout her career in real estate.
